Hancock Middle-Senior High School will be holding their final monthly food pantry on Tuesday, May 16, at 3:45 p.m.
The food pantry is held on the third Tuesday of each month from October through May in the school cafeteria.
Those who attend the food pantry can arrive whenever they want but are reminded to wait in their vehicles until the buses have pulled out of the school’s parking lot. Once the buses have left, folks can begin lining up at the cafeteria doors.
The food pantry at Hancock Middle-Senior High School comes from a monthly donation from the Maryland Food Bank, which makes the food pantry possible.
The food available varies from month to month and while people are “shopping” for items they need, the school does ask people to be mindful of others while at the food pantry.
