Cindy Ann Stumpff, age 61, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, April 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family and while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born September 15, 1961 in Covington, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Albert Leroy and Mildred Theresa Brinkman Wolnitzek.

She attended Love Assembly of God.

Cindy was a graduate of Meade High School in Ft. Meade, Md.

She worked as a receiving clerk for Weis Markets.

Cindy enjoyed reading, camping, swimming, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Robert Dale Stumpff, at home, her daughter, Danielle Marie Carbaugh and her husband, Edward, two sisters, Theresa Swartout of Bel Air, Md. and Patricia Harris of Harrisburg, Ky., four brothers, Matthew Wolnitzek and Stanley Wolnitzek both of Pasadena, Md., Lawrence Wolnitzek of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., James Wolnitzek of Chesapeake Beach, Va. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Wolnitzek.

Funeral services were conducted at noon on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Love Assembly of God, 31 Buzzard Acres Lane, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Pastor Dave Kidwell officiated. Burial was in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.

The family received friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cindy’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
