State Police handle accident, theft, and harassment in Fulton County

Pennsylvania State Police responded to an accident in the 8000 block of Buck Valley Road in the early morning hours of March 25.

According to police, the accident occurred as a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was travel- ing west on Buck V alley Road on Saturday, March 25, just after 4:30 a.m.

As the vehicle was traveling west, it lost control and subsequently traveled off the south side of the roadway, striking a ditch left front.

After striking the ditch, the car traveled off the north side of Buck Valley Road, striking a telephone pole with the front end.

Once the car struck the telephone pole, it came to a final rest on the north shoulder of the road, facing east. Police said the driver, Jacob M. Dudich, 26, of Warfordsburg, told police he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not injured.

The car sustained disabling damage to the front end and was later towed from the scene by Bard’ s Garage/Towing.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police release, Dudich was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance, high rate of alcohol.

Catalytic converters stolen

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of four catalytic converters from one location.

According to police, sometime between March 12, 2021 and March 12, 2023 from four vehicles at a residence in the 34,000 block of Great Cove Road in Burnt Cabins.

Police said the catalytic converters were stolen from a 2002 Honda Odyssey, 1998 Ford Taurus, 2002 Mercury Villager and Nautica Villager minivan, and a 2000 Honda Odyssey that were sitting in the victim’s driveway.

Warfordsburg woman charged

A Warfordsburg woman was charged with harassment after a verbal altercation be- came physical.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, police responded to a residence on Mill Hill Road in Warfordsburg for a report of a domestic.

In the commission of the crime, the victim, a 55-year old Warfordsburg woman, who police did not identify and Taryn Brothers, 32, also of Warfordsburg, engaged in a verbal altercation that be- came physical.

Police said Brothers then pushed the woman during the altercation. Brothers was charged with harassment.
