Members of the Washington County school board were set to decide on a bid award yesterday for a contractor to replace the roof on Hancock Elementary.
An item on the Washington County Public Schools business meeting agenda for Tuesday, March 21 included approval of bid for the local school work, along with a roof replacement project for Eastern Elementary School.
School board members were to begin their meeting with recognition of student athletes for their state championship success, including Hancock Track & Field thrower Josie Foltz.
School board members were also set to approve the Board of Education’ s 2024 fiscal year general fund operating budget after discussion by Superintendent Dr. David Sovine, COO Jeffrey Proulx, Executive Director of Finance David Brandenburg and Budget/Finance Manager Eric Sisler.
