Irene Adair Kleiss
1946-2023
Irene Adair Kleiss, age 76, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born August 12, 1946 in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of the late James Wallace Pierce II and the late Catherine Gwendolyn Everett Pierce.
She was a Christian.
Irene graduated and earned her Master’s Degree in elementary special education and worked for several schools.
She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble and intensive mind games.
Irene is survived by her children, Jack Kleiss of Saint Croix Falls, Wis. and Eric Kleiss of Franklin, Ind., her three siblings, Cathy King, Lisa Sheridan and Jim Pierce, one grandson, Jack Murphy Kleiss and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
