Lady Panthers fall in final home games

Hancock’s Lady Panthers basketball team rolled in respectable points during their final two home games of the varsity basketball season, but eventually fell to Broadfording Christian Academy last Thursday, February 16, and to Union High School on Friday, February 17.

Hancock’s athletes couldn’t overcome the Broadfording Lions’ aggressive scoring on the Panther home court on Thursday. The Lions, who have a 14-7 record this season, topped the Panthers 52-27.

On Friday, Union High School of Mount Storm, W.Va. took charge of the Panther home court and won the non-conference game with a score of 59-30.

Hannah Stouffer takes the ball through the Broadfording’s Lions while Alyssa Morris comes in for the backup on Thursday, February 17.
