The Hancock Panthers indoor track team travelled to Hagerstown Community College for a countywide invitational tournament on Saturday, January 21.
Senior Josie Foltz placed second in Washington County in shot put.
Senior Aiden Faith placed third in the county in high jump.
Sophomore Logan Trumpower finished fourth in the county in high jump.
Each competition was closely matched, coming down to the toss of a coin in some cases, according to assistant coach Karen Strait.
Freshman Brooklyn McCusker finished seventh in the county in shot put.
The Panthers girls’ indoor track team finished seventh in the 4×200-yard relay race.
First-year head coach Brian Foltz and assistant coach Strait lead Hancock High School’s co-ed indoor track team.
