1941-2023
Richard D. Miller, 81, Hancock, Md., passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born November 13, 1941, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles and Hattie Miller and the husband of Joyce A. Miller.
He was employed at Tristate Tile Inc.
He enjoyed fishing on his boat, mushroom hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, and playing guitar.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard L. Miller, Hancock, Md.; two daughters, Judy A, Barnhart, and husband, Larry, Needmore, Pa., and Julie A. Haines, and husband, Donald, Hancock, Md.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 19, 2023, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, Md. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m., at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, Md. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker will officiate. Military honors will be provided by Tristate Honor Guard.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, MD.
