Mary Margaret McBee, age 82, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Friday, November 11, 2022 at War Memorial Hospital.

Born July 25, 1940 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Marshall Wilton and Edith Blanche Royston Daniels.

She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where she was very active. Mary was a member of the United Methodist Women; she had served as the church treasurer, a Sunday School Teacher, song leader of the choir, the treasurer of Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery, Vacation Bible School coordinator, a Charge Conference Representative and leader of the Spohrs Crossroads Youth Group. She was a 1958 graduate of Hancock High School.

Mary first worked on the family orchard, Daniels Orchards in Hancock, and then with Rev. Jackson at Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church. She worked from 1980-1986 with Morgan County State Bank, from 1986-1989 with Shenandoah Federal mortgages in Martinsburg and from 1989-1995 was Branch Manager for the Berkeley Springs Shenandoah Federal Bank. In 1995, she began studying for and obtained her real estate license. Her first real estate agent job was with a company in Martinsburg and 1996 she began working with Kesecker Real Estate. Mary especially enjoyed working with young couples and selling them their first homes. According to the MRIS Mary sold a total of 490 homes for a total of $49,000,000. She continued to sell Keystone Homes in retirement.

Mary was a member of the Berkeley Springs Rotary Club and the Berkeley Springs -Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. She was an avid reader, her favorite book being the Bible. She loved to shop, travel, and spend time with her family.

Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bobbie Dean McBee, at home, her children, Anthony Lynn McBee and Angela Renee Hott and her husband Daniel, all of Berkeley Springs, Gregory Dean McBee and his wife Tammy of West Newton, Pa., and Joan Kelly Kulling and her husband David of Hedgesville, W.Va., two brothers, Marshall Daniels and his partner Holly Woodson of Roanoke, Va. and John Daniels of Mt. Airy, Md., her brother-in-law James E. Hill of Staunton, Va., nine grandchildren, four-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ettie Jane Hill.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 5377 Martinsburg Road, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with Chaplain Lindsey Arnold officiating. Interment was in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.

The family received friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
