Seth Kendall Bowman, 20, Hancock, Md., passed away, Monday, October 31, 2022, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born March 12, 2002, in Hagerstown. Md., he was the son of Kenneth and Debbie (Shaw) Bowman.
He loved being in the outdoors, listening to music, playing pool and “figuring out how things worked and operated.”
He had a contagious smile and liked to make people laugh.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Zacharia K. Bowman, Martinsburg W.Va.; a sister, Bethany M. Hinckle, Hagerstown, Md.; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Marie Shaw, Hancock, Md.; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Bowman, Warfordsburg, Pa.; one niece, Lilith Bowman; two nephews, Carson and Oliver Hinckle; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by an aunt, Vicki Anderson; a paternal grandfather, Earl K. Bowman; paternal great-grandparents, Ina and George Getic; maternal great-grandmothers, Dorothy Shaw and Jessie Gallion; and a cousin, Herbert Moiser III.
The family received friends, Saturday, November 5, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Rd, Hancock, Md. A funeral service followed at the church at 1 p.m. Pastor Steve McCarty officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main St., Hancock, MD. 21750, to help offset funeral costs.
