Spanish Honors Society acknowledges students

Hancock Middle Senior High School’s Spanish Honors Society ceremony was held on Thursday, September 29. It was held by the supervisor, Paula Moore, and Señorita Kieser, to acknowledge the students of Spanish III and up.

This group was brought together to promote Hispanic culture through events, such as fiestas and movie nights, as well as fundraisers. During the ceremony, the Seal of Biliteracy was brought up.

This is a huge achievement for the Spanish Honors Society and a milestone for Washington County. Amy Davis, Aidan Faith, Makynzie Golden, Noah McCormick-Fischer, Payton Mosier, Keelyn Seal, Tatyana Skolimovska and Jenna Wells were the eight inducted students of this group this year.
