Albert Rogers Diehl, Jr., age 95, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Stonerise Berkeley Springs.
Born December 27, 1926 in Franklin County, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert Rogers Diehl, Sr. and Nellie Mae Brechbill Diehl.
He was of Presbyterian Faith.
Albert graduated from District of Columbia public schools and attended University of Maryland.
He served during WWII with the 101 Airborne 516 Glider Battalion Army Air Force.
Albert was a self-taught master barber. He enjoyed woodworking and flying hand gliders.
Albert is survived by his children, Roberta Trumpower of Berkeley Springs, John Kincaid of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara, three sisters and two brothers.
Services and burial will be private.
