The Hancock Panthers varsity football team kicks off their fall season on Saturday, September 3 at 1 p.m. when they host Madonna Catholic at home.
The season opener was moved from Friday, according to the Hancock Panthers football social media page. Concessions will be sold at the game.
Sophomore running back Aiden McCarty is returning after his debut season last year, in which he was listed as one of the top 25 returners in Washington County.
The Panthers will then head to Halifax on September 9 for their first away game of the season, followed by an- other at Trinity Christian.
Shenandoah Valley travels to Hancock to face off against the Panthers on Saturday, September 24 at 1 p.m.
