Meritus Health mobile clinic to offer easy access for COVID vaccines

Since December of 2020, when COVID vaccines were first authorized for use, Meritus Health has provided the community it serves with more than 106,000 vaccinations.

The health system continues to look for opportunities to improve access to the vaccine, and will be expanding the offerings of its mobile vaccine clinic, beginning September 1, for eligible patients, ages 5 and older. First, second and booster doses will be available at clinics hosted in a variety of locations. Patients can use MeritusHealth.com to locate a clinic near them.

Eligible children ages six-months until five years can continue to receive COVID vaccines at Meritus After Hours Pediatrics, 186 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, during dedicated clinics.

The dates and times are found on the Meritus Health website. Appointments are required.

Adults and children who are patients of a Meritus primary care office could also receive their vaccine (first dose, second dose or booster) by scheduling an appointment at their doctor’s office.

The mass vaccine clinic located at Robinwood Professional Center will close at the end of August.
