Sally Ann Robb

1946-2022

Sally Ann Robb, age 76, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away from complications of Multiple Sclerosis at her daughter’s home in Fredericksburg, Va., surrounded by family.

Born May 24, 1946 in Bethesda, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harold Wickham and Evelyn May Cogan Kennedy.

Sally was a graduate of Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, attended Greenbrier College in West Virginia, and retired in 2002 as a secretary with the U.S. Census Bureau in Suitland, Md.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Bryans Road, Md. where she served as church secretary and sang in the choir.

She was a member of NARFE. She was a member of Morgan County Master Gardeners Association and was named Volunteer of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. Other volunteer activities included working as a teacher’s aide at J.C. Parks Elementary School, and as a Girl Scouts Co-Leader.

Sally enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, camping, bowling, the beach and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 54 ½ years, Robert Allen Robb, her children, Kathleen Louise Kemeny of McLean, Va. and Bonnie Lynne Ulrich of Fredericksburg, Va., her sister, Evelyn Marie Kelley of Waitsfield, Vt., four grandchildren, Jackson Thomas Kemeny and Shelby Anne Kemeny, both of McLean, Va., Adam Cogan Ulrich and Easton Kennedy Ulrich, both of Fredericksburg, Va., and one niece, Susan Marie Duckett of St. Johnsbury, Vt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Wickham Kennedy, Jr. and two nephews, George Ridgely Kelley and William Harold Kelley.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with Rev. Michael Leedom officiating. Interment was in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.

The family received friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 at the funeral home.
