Terry was the mother of two daughters who she loved more than life, Shannon Combs and husband Timothy, and Kelly Michael and fiancé, Charles Ruark. Terry is survived by her sister Ann (Shade) Miller and her husband Garland Miller, and brother Tom Shade and his wife Gail Shade. She was an amazing “Nina” to eight grandchildren: Brittany McBee and fiancé, RJ Barnes, Austin Waugh, and girlfriend Courtney McClough, Lance Corporal Joshua Michael II, Casey Michael, Brenden Combs, Leland Combs, Charli Michael, and Andi Michael. One great great niece, Lily Gibson and two great great nephews Kayson Todd and Kamdyn Todd.

In addition to her parents, Glenwood T. Shade, and Theresa (Rasicot) Shade, Terry was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Steven Ray Twigg.

Terry loved life, and her family was everything to her. She enjoyed sharing her childhood memories of growing up with her brother and sister. Terry’s daughters will always cherish these stories and memories, and they will share them with their own families for years to come.

Terry was a natural caretaker with an infectious smile and a heart of gold. Terry was a long-time employee of Stonerise Berkeley Springs, the nursing home facility. Terry cared and loved for all of her residents as well as her coworkers.

Terry was a Christian and a member of the Berkeley Springs Church of Christ.

Our hearts are broken, and emptiness will remain. Terry will be missed by her family and her many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
