Season stand-outs on Hancock’s track & field team solidified their standing by qualifying for state competition later this week.
Hancock Middle-Senior High School Juniors Joslyn Foltz and Aidan Faith will travel to the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover for the MPSSAA State Championships this Thursday, May 26.
Junior Joslyn Foltz will compete for Hancock in Girls Shot Put in 1A division and in Girls Discus Throw. Foltz is seeded fifth in shot put and sixth in discus heading into state competition.
Faith will represent Hancock in the Girls Long Jump in 1A division and in the Girls Triple Jump. She is seeded third in her division in both events heading into states.
Both secured their spots at state in qualifying competition at Smithsburg on May 19.
